Specialist System Engineer

·         Administer and maintain storage systems (Dell EMC, Pure Storage, NetApp)

·         Manage and optimize SAN/NAS environments (provisioning, performance tuning, capacity planning)

·         Define and operate backup and recovery strategies (data protection, disaster recovery)

·         Administer backup solutions (e.g., Veeam, Commvault or equivalent)

·         Ensure integration and optimization with VMware environments (vSphere)

·         Monitor infrastructure performance, availability, and capacity

·         Support incident resolution (L2/L3) and perform root cause analysis

·         Contribute to infrastructure design, evolution, and standardization

·         Implement automation and operational improvements (scripts, processes)

·         Ensure security, compliance, and data integrity

·         Produce and maintain technical documentation

Profile

·         Bachelor’s degree in IT (or equivalent experience)

·         At least 5 years of experience in storage and backup administration

·         Experience in enterprise environments

·         Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills

·         Autonomous, rigorous, and team-oriented

•    Good communication skills

Technical skills

·         Storage: Dell EMC (Unity, PowerStore, PowerMax), Pure Storage, NetApp (ONTAP)

·         Protocols: SAN (Fibre Channel, iSCSI), NAS (NFS, SMB/CIFS)

·         Backup: Veeam, Commvault, TSM (or similar tools)

·         Virtualization: VMware vSphere basics

·         Operating systems: Windows / Linux basics

·         Scripting: PowerShell, Shell (nice to have)

·         Security: data protection, encryption, backup compliance
