About the team

You’ll be joining a collaborative, international team focused on delivering financing and advisory services to clients across the maritime sector.

Our work includes:

• Financing vessels and offshore infrastructure
• Advising on complex debt transactions
• Supporting strategic initiatives such as decarbonisation and sustainable shipping

What you’ll be doing

As a Trainee, you’ll be involved in a wide range of activities across the transaction lifecycle. Your responsibilities will include:

Supporting live transactions

• Assisting with structuring and execution of financing deals
• Preparing materials for internal approvals and client discussions
• Supporting documentation review and deal closing processes

Financial analysis & modelling

• Building and reviewing financial models
• Analysing company financials and transaction performance
• Assessing profitability and key risks

Research & market insights

• Conducting industry, client, and market research
• Preparing regular updates on market trends and funding conditions

 Client & stakeholder support

• Creating presentations and marketing materials
• Supporting client meetings and pitches
• Working closely with internal teams across functions

Portfolio monitoring

• Tracking performance of existing transactions
• Supporting reviews and reporting requirements

What we’re looking for

We’re interested in candidates who are curious, driven, and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment.

You’ll need:

• A degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related subject
• Strong analytical and numerical skills
• A genuine interest in finance and global markets

• Exposure to corporate finance, banking, or infrastructure sectors
• Interest in maritime, energy, or sustainability topics
