V.I.E. Data analyst sales management

Sales Management services has the main responsibilities and key tasks as follows:

• Management of commercial performance by monitoring the activity: restatements, manipulations and formatting of data
• Maintenance and completion of reporting for local management and the Business Unit
• Conducting quantitative analyzes for steering and commercial development
• Preparation of portfolio reviews and monitoring of equities
• Ensuring proper adherence to the commercial strategy in terms of Cross-Border (compliance with international client servicing regulations)

• Monitoring Profit Sharing

Main Mission: Support Société Générale Private Banking Luxembourg’s commercial and financial performance by transforming data into actionable insights for management and business teams. The VIE contributes to the full data value chain, from data collection and processing to reporting, business analysis, and strategic recommendations.

Key Responsibilities :
Data Management, Automation & Reporting :

• Collect, consolidate, and monitor data from multiple sources
• Develop and maintain Python scripts to automate data processing and controls
• Ensure data quality, reliability, and process documentation
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of reporting processes

Dashboard Development & Business Intelligence :

• Design and enhance Power BI dashboards and performance monitoring tools
• Develop KPIs and visualizations to support decision-making
• Translate business needs into reporting and analytical solutions

Commercial Performance Analysis :

• Monitor key business indicators (AUM, NNM, Revenues, commercial activity, etc.)
• Conduct ad hoc analyses to identify trends, opportunities, and improvement areas
• Support performance reviews and provide data-driven recommendations

Commercial Strategy Support :

• Contribute to client segmentation and business development analyses
• Support strategic projects through targeted market and client insights

Data & Artificial Intelligence :

• Identify and explore new Data Analytics and AI use cases to enhance commercial performance

Studies & experience:

• Graduate with a Master degree from Business/Engineering School or University with a specialization in Data Science, Statistics, Business Intelligence, Quantitative Finance, or a related discipline
• Previous exposure to the banking, asset management, or financial services industry would be an advantage

Language skills:

• Fluent in English

Technical, operational & soft skills:

  Demonstrated proficiency in Python for data processing, analytics, and automation

• Sound knowledge of SQL and relational database management systems
• Proficiency in Power BI or a similar Business Intelligence platform
• Strong capabilities in data extraction, transformation, analysis, and visualization
• Understanding of APIs and data integration techniques
• Familiarity with modern Data Warehouse and Data Lake architectures
• Interest in Artificial Intelligence, Generative AI, and Machine Learning
   

The VIE assignment in a nutshell

This VIE in Luxemburg is to begin as soon as possible, but you need to plan 3 months between your application date and the beginning of your VIE assignment. It will last 12 months.

The VIE is a specific contract, under Business France’s eligibility criteria, opened to candidates under 28 and from the member states of the European Economic Space. For further information (including your financial indemnities), please see Mon VIE-VIA Business France.
