Specialist Software Engineer - DevOps
Responsibilities
Experience: 4 -7 years
Linux Hands-on working experience
Automating the IT infrastructure using Docker containers and building Code as an Infrastructure using Kubernetes (Eg: Terraform)
Application Monitoring & Logging tools
Familiar with one or more DevOps/IT Operation Tools like:
Code management and build tools (Eg : Git/GitLab/Maven/...)
Continuous integration tools (Eg : Jenkins/Nexus/Jfrog/...)
Configuration/Deployment tools (Eg: Ansible/Chef/…)
Must have worked on Ansible.
Experience with Maven, npm and other build frameworks.
Exposure to setup and configurations related to ElasticSearch,Kafka, Memcache, DB etc.
Experience with web servers like nginx, tomcat and JBoss.
Should have troubleshooting knowledge in databases and networking.
Experience in Shell, Python scripting & Linux knowledge.
Create custom Dockerfile and Docker-compose files.
Experience in container orchestration tools like kubernetes, OpenShift and etc.
Experience with monitoring tools like zabbix, nagios and AppDynamics.
Deployment of applications: Java, JS, Python, NodeJS etc.
Hands-on working experience in monitoring websites and making recommendations to stabilize or improve the applications.
Assistance to applications in change, migrations, and assistance to build their images and develop their application topology through an automated pipeline
The implementation of preventive and / or rapid remedial actions
Resolution of incidents affecting the platform
Platform upgrades & Improvement proposal
Collaborate with other stakeholders in the engineering & product management team to identify and resolve issuesStrong written and verbal communication skills
Worked in Agile development methodologies.
Experience in Production environments and SRE activities is a big plus
