Responsibilities
Job Description – Payment Open Banking - Test Automation Engineer
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and execute functional tests for two types of APIs:
- Regulatory APIs (e.g., SEPA payments, PSD3 requirements)
- Business APIs (e.g., accounting systems, communication with other banks)
- Test new API modifications related to:
- SEPA payments
- PSD3 compliance
- Transaction history
- Design and implement test scenarios and scripts using MockaX (KB-specific technology).
- Work in a Sandbox environment with mock data.
- Cover testing for more than 30 APIs.
- Collaborate with development teams to identify defects and propose solutions.
- Document test results and provide reporting.
Profile required
Requirements:
- Knowledge of testing methodologies (ISTQB, TMAP…)
- Experience in functional API testing (REST, SOAP).
- Knowledge of banking processes and regulations (SEPA, PSD3 is a plus).
- Familiarity with testing technologies (MockaX or similar tools).
- Ability to work with mock data and sandbox environments.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving ability.
- Basic scripting knowledge (e.g., JavaScript, Python) is an advantage.
- Data formats and scripting: XML, JSON, SQL, JavaScript/TypeScript
- Load testing: JMeter
- Monitoring and log analysis: Kibana
Nice to Have:
- Experience testing in large banking systems.
- Knowledge of CI/CD processes and tools (Jenkins, Git).
- English proficiency for reading documentation.
