Responsibilities
- Support client relationship management and prepare pitch materials, briefing notes, and call reports
- Assist in execution of corporate financing transactions (loans, RCFs, bilateral deals) and internal approval processes
- Coordinate with product teams (DCM, ECM, M&A, Structured Finance, Global Markets e.g.) to deliver onshore as well as cross-border solutions
- Monitor client profitability (NBI/RAROC/REVA/RGCP), portfolio performance, and revenue tracking
- Ensure timely and accurate completion of internal processes (KYC, credit applications, internal systems)
- Contribute to ESG integration by supporting sustainable finance initiatives and client engagement
- Maintain high standards of compliance, conduct, and data quality
Profile required
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or related field
1–3 years of relevant experience in banking or financial services (internships acceptable)
Strong analytical and financial literacy skills
Fluent Japanese and business-level English
High attention to detail and strong teamwork mindset
Experience in corporate banking, credit analysis, or capital markets
Financial modelling and accounting knowledge
Understanding of ESG and sustainable finance
Ability to manage multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced environment
