Fixed Income Structurer

Mission Statement & Core Functions:

You will be part of the Fixed Income Structuring team within SG Global Markets. More specifically he/she will work on driving Fixed Income and Hybrids transactions with clients across APAC.

Main duties and responsibilities

• Build a product offer for institutional and distribution clients taking in account markets, regulatory and accounting constraints
• Develop a sustainable corporate franchise with sales force
• Support senior structurers in their initiatives
• Organize business development initiatives, product push and client visits, jointly with sales
• Price products in an accurate and timely manner (Structured Notes, ALM and hedging solutions, XVA and regulatory costs,…)
• Liaise and negotiate with Trading to price and design suitable solutions
• Work in collaboration with Sales/trading/R&D/Middle Office/Legal

Geographical coverage: He/she will focus on Distribution / Corporate / Institution businesses across APAC

• Appetite and knowledge on capital markets, with a preference for FX, Rates and Credit
• Strong academic and scientific background, Knowledge of Fixed Income models
• Solutions mindset and result oriented 
• Team player with positive attitude and capacity to adapt and build strong relationships with external and internal stakeholders
• Eager to learn and to have an impact
• Sound coding skills (VBA, Python) and technology friendly 
• Mandatory English, Mandarin proficiency preferred, French is a plus

This is an in-scope position under the MRC Scheme.
