Vos missions au quotidien

The Compliance Officer is responsible for the definition and consistency of the compliance risk and control framework by reference to Ayvens normative framework and the relevant local regulations for the portfolio of activities within his/her perimeter and for coordinating the framework aimed at preventing, identifying, assessing and controlling reputational risk within its remit.

He/she is responsible for the oversight of the business-related compliance activities in the country and the relationship with the local regulatory authorities within the delegation received from the RCD and the Ayvens Group Compliance Officer.

The Compliance Officer oversees :

  • Implementing, steering and adapting an adequate compliance framework on his/her perimeter, on all non-compliance risks as defined in the Ayvens Normative Framework, including in terms of training and on Culture and Conduct aspects
  • Ensuring that local regulations are complied with in addition to the Group requirements and addressing request for exemption in case local regulations are more restrictive than Group rules
  • Implementing an adequate monitoring, surveillance, and controls framework to prevent and/or detect compliance and reputational risks
  • Advising the management of the entity and the business unit active within the entity daily on compliance topics
  • Ensuring the oversight of the Compliance program for his/her perimeter
  • Animating the business unit through a dedicated comitology and training / awareness actions

Governance - Participation to committees :

  • Steering the non-compliance control and mitigation setup linked to the non-compliance of his/her entity/branches attached to his/her perimeter
  • Coordinating the works to prepare the committees to which a compliance representative participates

External relationships :

  • Ensuring the follow-up and implements the audit, inspection, or remediation actions on compliance topics
  • Ensuring the proper treatment of alerts related to anti-money laundering, terrorism financing and market abuse and the associated declarations
  • Representing his/her entity/branches on non-compliance topics towards clients, counterparts, professional organizations, or market actors

  • Significant knowledge of :
      • The regulatory environment, risk and legal activities in the financial sector or in a regulatory/supervisor control body
      • Significant knowledge of control techniques
      • Good knowledge of compliance risks management and analysis
  • Knowledge of the banking, financing and insurance environment
  • Graduate with a master’s degree with a specialization in Economic, Finance, Audit or Risk
  • Fluent in English and French
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, autonomy, ability to make decisions, rigor
  • Ability to organize, structure, engage and make a team grow
  • Managing in a matrix environment, transversality, federation skills, ability to collaborate, influencing skills
