Credit risk analyst

Reporting into the Business Unit GTPS (Global Transaction & Payment Services) of Societe Generale, a leading French banking Group, Societe Generale Factoring is significant player in the field of Factoring. In Italy, Societe Generale Factoring ranks #10th on the factoring market and manages a portfolio of approximately 250 clients and 1500 debtors and a total yearly turnover exceeding EUR 7.5bn. As Credit Risk Analyst you will report to the head of Credit Risk, member of the Executive committee of Societe Generale Factoring in Italy.  

We are seeking a Credit Risk Analyst to join our Credit Risk Analysis Office. The selected candidate will be responsible for evaluating counterparty solvency risk in factoring operations, ensuring compliance with internal regulations, and supporting the management of relationships with Group Risk Offices.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform financial and economic analyses to assess Assignor / Debtor operational and solvency risk in factoring transactions.
• Conduct compliance checks in line with internal policies and procedures.
• Carry out KYC (Know Your Customer) verifications.
• Manage and maintain relationships with Group Risk Offices.

• Degree in Economics.
• Strong ability to analyze and restate financial statements.
• Good proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite.
• Good spoken and written English.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ideally with an initial experience of 2/3 years in the factoring sector
