CFT (Corporate Functions for IT), the department you will be working for, covers all “non-banking-specific” corporate IT and management solutions for the Société Générale group. It has a wide portfolio of activities: Peoplesoft suite, Oracle Fusion HCM, Software As A Service management, Data management as analytics, tool development.

As a mid-experienced Oracle BIP Developer, you will be designing, developing, and maintaining reporting solutions using Oracle Fusion technologies for HR usages. The role involves working closely with business stakeholders to understand reporting requirements, creating efficient and accurate reports, and ensuring data integrity and consistency across reports. The expert will also support report automation, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement of reporting processes.You will be working in a cross-region reporting Service Team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, test, and deploy robust reports, process notifications, templates using Oracle reporting tools (Oracle BI Publisher, Oracle Analytics Cloud).
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams to gather and analyze reporting requirements and ensure delivery.
  • Acquire in-depth understanding of Oracle HCM Cloud data model on Core HR, Absences and OTL modules as per Societe Generale implementation.
  • Write complex SQL queries, PL/SQL procedures, and scripts to extract and manipulate data from Oracle databases.
  • Optimize report performance and ensure data accuracy and consistency.
  • Maintain and update existing reports based on changing business needs.
  • Provide support and troubleshooting for reporting issues.
  • Document reporting processes, data sources, and report specifications.
  • Assist in training end-users on report access and interpretation.

Profile required:

  • Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Cybernetic or equivalent.
  • English professional fluency, at least B2+.
  • Middle experience: 3+ years Oracle cloud or a similar role with at least one end-to-end implementation experience.
  • Hands on experience on Oracle BI Publisher, Oracle Transactional BI and Oracle Cloud infrastructure.
  • Strong experience with Oracle database technologies, including Oracle SQL and PL/SQL. Advanced query writing and data manipulation across relational databases.
  • Expertise in Oracle Data Model and Data flow between various business processes.
  • Familiarity with the Oracle Fusion HCM modules (Workforce admin, Absences and OTL) is a plus.
  • Knowledge of other reporting or BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Understanding of data security and privacy best practices.

Analytical and Soft Skills:

  • Ability to translate business requirements into technical reporting specifications.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Good communication skills to interact effectively with business users and technical teams.
