Vos missions au quotidien

Main task: The Senior Auditor will work in the SG Group's Periodic Control Department. He/she is involved in the assessment, using an objective, rigorous and impartial approach, of the compliance of transactions, the level of risk actually faced, compliance with procedures and the efficiency and appropriateness of the permanent control system. The senior auditor takes part in audit assignments relating to the activities covered by the shared centre in Luxembourg.

Tasks and responsibilities:

Managing audit missions under the authority and with the support of the supervisor
• Identifying and assessing risks (operational risks, related to counterparty risks and market risks)
• Ensuring the correct implementation of the bank's procedures, Société Générale Group's instructions and legal and regulatory provisions (CSSF 12/552, MIFID2, EMIR, GDPR, etc.)
• Evaluating the security of data processing and information systems
• Evaluating the management of Compliance risks (AML/KYC, Embargos and Sanctions)
• Evaluating the management of counterparty risks and assessing the quality of credit agreements
• Evaluating the effectiveness of the internal control system (LOD1 / LOD2)
• Evaluating the quality of the accounting & financial information

Controls, reporting and continuous improvement
• Defining the controls to be carried out and documents them in compliance with IGAD standards
• Defining areas for improvement after these controls and giving recommendations
• Contributing towards monitoring the implementation of recommendations
• Contributing to the drafting of the control report and control debriefings
• Contributing to the enhancement and updating of the audit methodology
• Ensuring full compliance with SG rules
• Ensuring full compliance with International Standards on Auditing (ISA)

Communication and relations with internal and external partners
• Working in collaboration with all the members of the audit department of the Shared Centre in Luxembourg across the entities in an international environment (Luxembourg, Belgium, Switzerland, Monaco and the Bahamas).
• Developing and building productive and fruitful relationships with key people within the bank
• Ensuring clear communication and smooth cooperation with all the teams
• Giving advice and proposals to contribute to the continuous improvement of the work undertaken
