Division Description:
Within Societe Generale Corporate & Investment Banking, the Global Markets Division brings together the Research, Investment and Risk Management Solutions, Execution and Clearing, Prime Services, Equities, Fixed Income, Futures and Currencies & Commodities structuring capabilities with the objective of providing investors with one integrated multi-asset market solutions team. The business uses an advisory and innovation mindset, focused on client needs, with a global leader in financial markets engineering. Global Markets is a leading player in derivatives, with unrivaled over the counter and listed derivatives expertise, as well as cross-asset and economic research. Our prime services' offering is a unique combination of execution, clearing, custody and financing services.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Will have broad exposure to many trading desks, making markets in hundreds of financial products across the entire Global Markets division
- The internship can be in either sales, trading, structuring, derivatives strategy, or prime services within Equities or Fixed Income
- Engaging with our clients spanning from banks, hedge funds, insurers, pension funds, real money managers, and corporate accounts.
Skills and Qualifications:
Must Have:
- A minimum of a 2-year career gap
- Knowledge in prime services, equities, fixed income, commodities and/or credit market
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
- Strong background in financial markets products
- Good discipline
- Minimum years of industry experience: 4 years
- Years of Experience (number only) (maximum): 10 years
- Language(s) English
Nice to Have:
- Last Corporate Title of Vice President, Executive Director, Director, or Managing Director
- Preferred Education Background: Finance, Economics, Engineering, Accounting, Math
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Bloomberg Terminal

COMPENSATION & SALARY RANGE:
Base salary range does not include overtime pay, bonus and/or other benefits, where applicable. Actual base salary offer will vary based on skills and experience.
