Responsibilities

Commercial Responsibilities

·         Actively interact with clients regarding product-specific structures and solutions.

·         Liaise with the central product team to address client needs and requirements.

·         Share competitive intelligence and market developments.

·         Manage complex structures and oversee implementation projects, including contract negotiations.

·         Collaborate closely with SG Factoring colleagues in Paris and across the network.

·         Develop client strategies to drive factoring business growth together with GTB Sales and Working Capital Senior Sales.

·         Ensure action plans related to the “Golden Rules” and profitability targets are implemented and followed.

·         Keep the GTB Senior Sales Manager informed of critical client topics and developments.

Operational Responsibilities

·         Act as an escalation point for specific situations arising from the day-to-day processing of factoring transactions.

·         Serve as the escalation point for product service issues and coordinate with SG Factoring teams in Paris as required.

·         Ensure regular interaction with clients regarding service quality and collect related feedback.

·         Drive growth of the factoring business within the assigned client portfolio.

·         Ensure that credit processes are managed accurately and in a timely manner in coordination with SG Factoring teams in Paris.

·         Ensure compliance with the Risk Appetite Framework within the assigned scope of responsibility, including adherence to the GTPS Risk Appetite Statement, particularly regarding country and sector limits.

Profile required

Experience and technical skills

·         University degree in Finance/business administration or related area (bank apprenticeship)

·         Proven experience in GTB, factoring and related products.

·         In-depth knowledge of credit processes, documentation and risk management.

·         Detailed knowledge of factoring processes, products and their associated risk implications.

Personal Abilities / Competencies

·         Fluency in German and English (written and spoken) is essential; French would be an advantage.

·         Solution-oriented and flexible working style.

·         Proactive team player with a strong collaborative mindset.

·         Demonstrated collaborative leadership skills.

·         Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and influence business relationships at all levels.

Business insight

Our Division Global Transaction Banking (GTB) integrates the business activities such as cash management, correspondent banking, international trade services, factoring and related currency services. These different competencies are offered to financial institutions and companies including multinational corporations as well as large- and medium-sized companies that conduct business internationally.

The Working Capital Junior Sales possesses solid knowledge of factoring products and solutions. The role holder has the ability to understand client-specific needs as well as the related commercial and operational implications, based on several years of experience in factoring, either in Sales or Mid-Office functions.

The role holder supports the implementation of the business development strategy within their area of product expertise for existing clients and contributes to the acquisition of new business opportunities. In addition, the role holder aligns the product development strategy with GTB Sales and Working Capital Senior Sales.

The Working Capital Junior Sales reports directly to the Head of GTPS Desk.
