Responsibilities

As an Accounting Analyst, you will be responsible for the accounting and reporting activities for the French entities of Societe Generale Global Solution Centre.

Specifically, you will be required to:

• Collect and analyze accounting data, perform accounting entries, prepare & control the trial balance and prepare periodic reports, such as balance sheets, profit & loss statements etc.
• Provide accurate, timely and relevant accounting records, reporting and analysis of financial information;
• Prepare financial statements, group consolidated IFRS reports, regulatory reports;
• Maintain accurate financial records; Compile, analyze, control and report accounting data;
• Perform controls and resolve discrepancies; Compute and declare taxes;
• Ensure compliance with the accounting standards, rules, regulations, and systems of internal control;
• Assisting stakeholders in the decision-making process by preparing reports and analysis;
• Identify areas for improvement and implement improvements to processes;

Profile required

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience; CECCAR/ACCA would be a plus;
• IFRS and consolidation reporting including inter-companies reconciliation knowledge would be a plus;
• Proven accounting experience;
• Intermediate to advanced skills and knowledge of Excel (formulas, functions, pivot tables), as well as other Microsoft Office applications;
• Experience with accounting software; Ability to navigate ERP software;
• Good oral and written French; B2 level required;
• Ability to communicate and build good relationships cross functionally/countries
• Self triggered, organized, focus on deadlines;
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
• Team player and best practice sharing;
• Strong adaptability to the changing environment.
