Accounting & Finance Intern – M/W

The Milan Branch of Société Générale is looking for an intern to join its Accounting & Finance team for a renewable period of 6 months, starting on the 1st of July 2025.

The intern will work in a dynamic and demanding environment within the Accounting & Finance team, consisting of 6 people, and will interface with other divisions of the Branch. Given the potential interaction with colleagues abroad, fluent knowledge of English is required.

Tasks and responsibilities:

• Accounts Payable of the Branch: point of contact for colleagues based in Bangalore; control activities and accounting reconciliations; management of any urgent manual payments; communication of initial entries to be recorded in accounting.
• Accounts Receivable of the Branch: management of the issuance of active invoices, both domestic and foreign; verification of their correct accounting.
• Accounting management of Special Purpose Vehicles: invoice payments, withholding tax payments via F24 forms, reconciliation of current accounts; tax and accounting archives.

Studies & experience:

• Graduate in Economics

Language skills:

• Fluency in Italian and English

Technical, operational & Soft skills:

• Excellent accounting knowledge
• Excellent organizational skills are required to strictly meet deadlines, along with a strong ability to concentrate and precision
• Flexible and able to work in a team, and capable of carrying out assigned tasks independently under the supervision of a tutor
