Responsibilities

Within Global Banking and Investor Solutions (GBIS), Société Générale’s Corporate & Investment Banking division, the Global Banking & Investor Solutions/Financing and Transaction Banking (GBSU/FTB) Information Systems Department is responsible for developing and managing information systems related to the Financing activity and the Transaction Banking.

You will work with stakeholders of all business units (BU) and parties involved to define and document business requirements and software configurations and work as part of a global Tribe with teams in France, India and Poland to contribute to a global release train on a common core banking product.

Tasks and responsibilities:

  • Analyze business needs according to PO priorities, study the impact, propose options taking into consideration planning and costs, and translate into user stories
  • Facilitate collaboration between the Product Management and the Feature team by keeping Value in mind
  • Conduct testing activities, from the definition of testing strategy to performing the actual tests
  • Contribute to Change Management in collaboration with the PO
  • Participate in Application support (“You build it, you run it”), analyze incidents, problems and requests and co-ordinate with the other teams till closure
  • Facilitate continuous and regular Application deployment in environments
  • Keep process and documentation up to date
  • As a member of a Chapter, contribute to knowledge sharing and growth, ensure alignment with the guidelines and practices

Profile required

Studies & experience:

  • Bachelor or Master’s degree in Economics/Banking/Finance or in Computer Science/Software Engineering
  • At least 5 years of total professional experience, including at least 3 years of experience in a Business Analysis related position

Language skills:

  • Proficiency in English
  • French will be a plus

Technical, operational & Soft skills:

  • Understanding of Agile and Project methodologies : Scrum, SAFe, Agile and Waterfall
  • Willingness to explore technical aspects, investigating logs, using APIs and querying database
  • High analytical skills
  • High interpersonal and communication skills
  • Curiosity and a flexible attitude and adaptable approach
  • Ability to work autonomously, take initiatives and to challenge the status quo
  • Good organisational skills and ability to prioritise work appropriately
  • Team Spirit
