Responsibilities

1.       Accountabilities  

 ·         Hand on experience in securities processing, Settlements, Reference data & Third party SDI.

·         Knowledge Asian/European/US stock markets is desirable.

·         Good communication skills. Fluent in spoken and written English. Presentation skills.

  • Meticulous, discipline and possess good working attitude.
  • Able to handle work pressures and adhered to deadlines.
  • Team player with excellent communication skills
  • Good knowledge of MS Office applications
  • 100% flexibility to work in shifts according to global time zones.

                                                                            

2.       Activity Monitoring / Challenges

·

·         Should have strong knowledge of financial securities and markets (Global Markets)

·         Good exposure on various asset classes and their key attributes (Equities, Fixed Income, Derivatives etc)

·         Should be able to investigate on process issues and escalations related to settlements / STP / Accounts.

·         Actively manage the controls so that there is no financial / reputational damage.

·         Expected to understand the impact downstream FO and MO systems/processes.

·         Basic understanding on securities processing and trade lifecycle.

·         Ability to liaise with various internal stakeholders, namely FO Traders, PCG, Risk, Accounting & Rec and other MO teams.

·         Ensure timely resolution of process issues, queries and escalations.

·         Identify process improvement opportunities/projects.

·         Assist in technology revamp projects, testing the release of new systems/enhancements.

·         Ensure that policies, procedures, best practices, mission and objectives set by management are adhered to.

·         Ad-hoc duties that may be assigned by team lead/management.

3.       Key Performance Indicators                                                                 

·         Feedback from Client / Team Leaders

·         Process improvements identified and implemented

·         Daily checklist

·         Ad hoc basis, as and when there is any change in the market rules

Profile required

·         The incumbent of this role must be able to perform equity/ FI static and referential update in Settlements, Reference data & Third party SDI for most of the Asian/European/US stock markets in timely manner to ensure all the SLAs are met.
