Responsibilities

Primary Responsibilities 

Review AML transaction monitoring alerts generated by TMS.
Perform risk-based analysis of alerts to determine whether activity is non-unusual or requires escalation.
Close alerts assessed as non-unusual, ensuring clear and defensible documentation.
Escalate unusual or potentially suspicious cases to CPLE in line with internal escalation procedures.
Apply enhanced scrutiny to activity involving high-risk jurisdictions and complex ownership structures.
Ensure alert handling and escalations are compliant with AML regulations and guidance.
Support adherence to internal AML policies, procedures, and SLAs.
Maintain audit-ready documentation to support regulatory exams and internal audits.
Participate in process improvement initiatives, including automation and efficiency enhancements.
Complete all mandatory e- learning modules within stipulated timelines and attend trainings for which nominated.
Assist the Delivery Manager as required to support service delivery and SLAs.
Always uphold the values of the Group.

Profile required

Experience: 2 + years in AML Transaction Monitoring domain

Additional Specific Role Requirements: 

Strong knowledge of AML regulations and banking risk typologies.
Hands-on experience in transaction monitoring and alert disposition.
Sound judgment in distinguishing non-unusual vs unusual activity.
Strong written communication skills for clear, regulator-ready documentation.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.

Preferred competencies

Proficiency with any of the transaction monitoring platforms (SAS, Actimize, Mantas, etc.) and related analytical tools.
Any certificate on AML fields like CTMA, CAMS etc.,
