Responsibilities

Main Mission

Level 2 Analysis of transactions in line with Group policy and Regulations.

Main responsibilities

The review of Level 2 alerts on transactions from various business units to ensure compliance with the international regulations in force and the Group Policy on Sanctions and Embargoes, namely:

o   Analysis of operations with regard to the relevant regulations and Group Policy

o   Decision-making on operations

o   Monitoring the implementation of these decisions by entities (including monitoring the accounting treatment)

·         Participation in the improvement of the existing system and coordination with the sites in Paris/Bucharest (sharing of good practices, harmonization of analyses);

·         Participation in other missions of the department as needed (coordination with the Management Support team, training, new products and processes, reporting, communication).

Profile required

Core Competencies

 

·         Knowledge of different banking products and payment systems (SWIFT/SEPA)

·         A very good level of French and English both written and oral

·         Some knowledge of the European, French and American regulatory frameworks on embargoes and international financial sanctions

  • Minimum 4+  year in managing Sanctions and Embargoes risk
  • Preferable to have ACAMS CGSS certification

·         Attention to detail and rigor

·         Very good interpersonal skills in order to be able to communicate on sensitive and difficult subjects with the Business Units and Service Units.

·         Team player and desire to work in a collaborative environment to achieve results.
