Analyst team FIC rates (Graduate Program) - M/W

Mission: 

MARK Graduate Program is specifically tailored to integrate you during your initial two years, allowing for swift skill enhancement and the expansion of your professional network with our Global Markets division. 

Tasks and responsibilities:

Your main mission as junior sales part of the Rates sales team will be:

• Initially supporting and then being fully involved in the daily interactions of the SG rates sales team with Italian financial institutional clients (Banks, Insurance Companies and AM’s)
• Structuring and pricing trades, preparing pitches and ideas, following up on all the post-trades activities.
• Liaising with all the internal stakeholders and support functions to deliver documentation negotiations and solve potential post-trade issues
• Assisting the rates sales team in collecting data and elaborating reports, analysis and simulations that may be used internally or to support trade ideas with clients

• Being part of a strong and leading team, being involved from day 1 in daily markets activity with clients
• Developing deep knowledge of interest rates product and markets, gaining a full suite of pricing skills
• Being part of the wider SG Italy Global Markets team, a leading player in the fixed income space with a global franchise

Studies & experience:

• Master’s degree from Engineering or Business School or University in business or finance or economics
• Previous experience (e.g. as trainee) in banking or finance would be appreciated

Language skills:

• Italian C1
• English C1

Technical, operational & Soft skills:

• Proficient with Microsoft Office pack (Excel, PowerPoint)

• Team Spirit

• Respect of the guidelines and rules

• Be cooperative

• Be able to focus on the right priorities
