Analyst – Trade Finance (Letter of Credit)
Responsibilities
Ø Responsible for processing of LC Issuance, Amendments, Acceptance, Payments, SWIFT communications for Asian entities.
Ø Co-ordinate/work closely with the Middle office, Front office & Relationship managers (Onshore)
Ø Be able to work closely with Back office team in meeting the client requirements / expectations
Ø Knowledge in IMEX application would be an advantage.
Ø Fully aware of the below trade cycle/flow of transactions, thus enabling/guiding the clients in handling TRADE Transactions
· Export LC processes (Advising, Amendment, Confirmation, Transfer LCs, Negotiation, LC Forfaiting, LC discounting, FX Loans, Reimbursement Claims and payments)
· Import LC processes (Issuance, Amendment, Negotiation and Import Financing (Trust Receipt Loans), Reimbursement authorization, honor and Acceptance & Payments.
Profile required
- At least 2-5 years of experience and in-depth knowledge in Trade Finance Operations, especially LC Issuance
Exposure towards Asian market is preferable
- Knowledge of UCP 600 is must
- Working knowledge in IMEX would be preferred.
- Knowledge in Compliance regulations (Anti-boycott languages, Anti-Money laundering, and OFAC - Office of the Foreign Asset Control )
