Analyst - Treasury (Societe Generale Securities India)
Responsibilities
Job Summary:
Primary responsibility is to manage the Treasury, Local & Group reporting, Fund Management, and coordination with Global Banking Technology & Operations (GBTO) (LRD & Equities and Equity Derivatives) for smooth functioning of Treasury function.
Secondary responsibilities include aspects of the Business Management function, in addition to responsibilities regarding other MARK related tasks which will involve internal governance, and client-related analytics/pitch decks.
Primary Responsibilities - Client Collateral Management (CCM):
• Maintain & manage banking relationship and identify opportunities to better utilize the Company’s bank services.
• Monitor Fund management and determine accuracy in reporting the day end / weekend / month end positions to Group and local management.
• Liaise with different departments to ensure efficient management of client and own funds.
• Manage, enhance, and implement systems, processes, tools, and control systems related to day-to-day management of treasury functions.
• Managing and Monitoring Treasury activities & developing, maintaining, and coordinating all Banking relationships
• Ensure compliance with defined Group guidelines and limits.
• Responsible for the daily report generating.
• Collect the necessary reports/data from CCPs and Internal cash management system.
• Manage and modify the CCM tableau database & perform any ad hoc data analysis that may be needed from time to time.
• Work closely with GBTO & IT to ensure the data correctness.
• Help to develop the tools & controls to smoothen the daily funding process & meet internal governance & reporting requirements from time to time.

Secondary Responsibilities - Global Markets/ Business Management Office (MARK/BMO):
• Aid Head of SGSI in ensuring that the governance of such projects is established with the appropriate level of reporting to regional or global sponsors
• Act as local point of coordination for any CTB projects or initiatives where appropriate or necessary
• Updating SGSI market share & volume excel sheets on a monthly basis
• Play an active role in ExCo agenda formulation & other presentation decks by planning & organizing inputs
• Aid Head of SGSI in taking focused actions, attention & resources in transversal projects amongst business lines and resource functions
• Central point of coordination for all the internal, statutory & any other audits that the company may be subject to, from time to time
• Monitoring and ensuring timely implementation of any corrective actions required following any audits/inspections/incidents
• Liaise and work in partnership with the regional MARK BMO teams to ensure right MARK governance and controls are in place in SGSI
• Liaise and work in partnership with the SG Mumbai Branch COO/regional country COO team to ensure right Entity governance, frameworks and controls are in place in SGSI
Profile required
Academic Background:
• Masters/MBA in Finance from a reputed b-school
• Good academic track record
Hard Skills & Competencies required:
• Experience in large peer IBs preferred (~2-4 years).
• Experience of managing treasury & risk management functions preferred
• Strong communication & analytical skills
• Proficient with MS- Office Skills
• Proven technical skills on Python, SQL, VBA preferred
• Good knowledge on both UNIX and Windows environment
• Good scripting skills - shell and python with analytics libraries is preferred
• Ability to quickly pull data and assemble presentation decks from scratch is preferred
