Responsibilities

  •  
    • Verify the compliance of the management decisions of fund management companies for UCITS and carry out specific checks for certain institutional clients.

    •  Controls relating to a fund's merger or dissolution.

    •  Audit fund management companies and their service providers within the framework of global or thematic audits, and new relationship audits.

    •  Analyse new prospectus projects or modification projects for which a letter of acceptance from the Depositary is a prerequisite for the AMF to grant its visa.

    •  Participates in various meetings with the relevant TDS stream

    •  To ensure that all information within the relevant systems is up to date, developing and implementing new controls to meet new regulatory requirements.

    •  Review the frequency of the NAV of the funds (UCITS and AIF) to ensure it has been completed accurately in accordance with the regulations and prospectus of the fund.

    • Reconciliation to be performed on cash securities and derivatives open position.

    •  Setting up funds in the systems.

    • Should work on process improvements and Identify risks and Challenges in the process and implement the measures to mitigate the risk.

Profile required

Controller:

  • Experience in knowledge of fund Accounting, Trust Depository Services and Investment Banking, or Financial Analysis
  • Cash projection; prediction and verification of payments due to each fund for subscriptions and due from each fund for redemptions, in relevant currencies and on correct settlement dates. 
  • Verify the compliance of the management decisions of fund management companies for UCITS and carry out specific checks for certain institutional clients.

Technical:

  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Access, Outlook)

Functional:

  • Knowledge of foreign and domestic markets and financial instruments
  • Knowledge in usage of Bloomberg
  • Experience in Reconciliation tools

Controller for Trustee and Depository services:

  • Analyst is expected to have fair understanding on workflow of Mutual Funds, Hedge Funds, Private Equity Funds and Collective Investment Scheme in the Fund Industry.
  • Analyst to have a fair knowledge on financial securities industry and its products.

Should proactively analyze by monitoring and studying data; recommending actions.
