Responsibilities

Position Objective:

  • Assist in marketing Correspondent Banking & Trade Finance Services to Korean Financial institutions
  • Customer service to banks maintaining accounts with Societe Generale (SG).
  • Cross selling & supporting function for related SG products

Key Responsibilities: 

To support a Relationship Manager for following business activities.

Customer Services and marketing for Cash Clearing and Trade Finance for FI clients:

  • To provide a first level of customer support to banks in Korea dealing with SG, especially on client inquiries on payments and trade transactions, to solve any operation problems and make sure every inquiry will be taken care of at the earliest to satisfy customer requirements.
  • Follow up regularly on the budgeted volume of EURO payments for existing customers.
  • Manage business relationship with existing and future clients through regular contacts, to offer SG’s Cash Clearing services and FI trade business in deep connection with related teams in Paris and Seoul.
  • Sales activities to promote Cash clearing and Trade Finance businesses.
  • Monitoring of customer activities and sharing of consolidated information to head office regarding local market situation in the scope of global clearing services and FI trade business.
  • In charge of the overall correspondent banking business, including the handling of KYC and any compliance-related issues.
  • Developing the commercial strategy for its portfolio taking into account the yearly objectives and guidelines
  • Drafting and presenting pitches Originating, structuring and execution of deals, namely credit approvals, compliance approvals, coordination with the dedicated internal and external partners with internal and external partners
  • Business Review and alignment and active cross-sells with other business line within SG

Profile required

Required Skill:

  • 2-3 years experiences in dealing with banks and/or corporates for Cash and/or Trade Services is preferred
  • Reliable, competent and service oriented person who is a team player
  • Native Korean, fluent in written and spoken English
  • Client-facing relationship/communication skills
  • Demonstrate the ability to work in diverse business under many different organizational conditions
  • Excellent PC skills
