Responsibilities

    QIS Structurer (Data Expert)

    ·         Understand the business function & the activities of QIS structuring team.

    ·         Design and maintain databases of global market data as well as trade data that are functional, dependable, and stable.

    ·         To build an infrastructure which is linked to this database that allows efficient accessibility..

    ·         Enhance and improve the functionalities of existing and new infrastructure, and resolve relevant issues. .

    ·         To set-up automated regular updates of these databases.

    ·         To design the tests around the databases to do the sanity check of databases on ad-hoc basis and at every update.

    ·         Learn and maintain other legacy systems during the transition to new developments.

    ·         Create technical and training guides for end users.

    ·         Verify that all database programs adhere to the organization’s standards.

    ·         Conduct research and make recommendations for fresh database services, products, and methods.

    Profile required

    ·         Strong academic background in either of the following fields – Computer Science, Engineering, Physics or Mathematics.

    ·         Proven work experience as a Database developer and in-depth understanding of data management.

    ·         Hands-on experience with SQL and/or MongoDB, Python, C++,

    ·         Ability to focus on details and big picture.

    ·         Ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment and deliver accurate results quickly.

    ·         Understanding the needs of front-end users and having a problem-solving mindset.

    ·         Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

    ·         Basic understanding of financial markets and related instruments.
