Responsibilities

Job Summary: -
•    To manage the Indian Exchanges (NSE, BSE, MCX) IT Trading Platforms and Client set up through strong service delivery and hands on approach and ensuring consistency and maintenance of existing applications by enforcing defined standards and procedures
•    To ensure smooth execution of production tasks according to established schedules as per customer expectations

Main Responsibilities:- 
•    Monitoring the trading tools and Exchange connectivity during Trading Hours.
•    Closely working with Application vendors to resolve issues related to daily production & system enhancements.
•    Support & Troubleshooting for Trading and BO Applications as and when required by the business and exchange requirements.
•    Managing the version controls of all BO and Trading applications.
•    Managing and providing the Technical Support for the following Applications TSS , FIS , TCS Bancs, GreekSoft, Omnesys,  Fidessa, Connect2nse, NEAT CM, NEAT FO, Neat Plus, DERIWatch, ENIT, GLDI, Data Store, Bolt, Share point, pre-trade risk limits mgt systems etc.)
•    Execution and managing new projects in consultation with Regional Teams and Business Lines.
•    Regular follow-up with local regulatory requirements from exchanges as and when required to ensure SG setup is compliant with local exchanges in consultation with HK team.
•    Regular follow-ups with local vendors (Software/Hardware) to accommodate the business requirements.
•    Regular Management and Updating the BCP site. BIA & BCM Planning and maintenance
•    Analyzes complex business needs presented by the user community and/or clients and recommends technical solutions.
•    Enforcing IT guidelines at firm level and ensure standards are followed.
•    Streamline internal operations and optimizing existing processes and system for greater efficiency for strategic benefits.

Production Support:-
•    Follow GBSU IT standards and best practices for Incident, request, change, problem management and incident communication.
•    Manage users requests and production incidents while providing regular feedback to end users.
•    Pro-actively monitor production systems and ensure that our monitoring tools are in line with our needs and take initiatives to improve their efficiency.
•    Lead investigations and troubleshoot to resolve problems collectively or independently, including coordination with other support units and vendors. Formalize problems and escalates to the next level of escalation as needed.
•    Estimate the risks and opportunities in our day-to-day job and take initiatives to reduce the risks and improve our efficiency

Profile required

Academic Background (degree and major):-
•    B.Tech / BCA / MCA/ Computer Science
•    ITIL Certification preferred.

Relevant Working Experience in number of years: - 8+ years

Skills & Competencies required:- 
•    Working knowledge of Windows/LINUX, SQL, ORACLE DB (BASIC/not mandatory), Cisco Networks and Firewalls, WAN/MAN Links, IML gateways, Trading Services, Algos, Co - location, Tick By Tick, Exchanges utilities and BO Applications (TCS BANCs).
•    Broad Knowledge of Oracle and SQL databases is needed.
•    Hands on experience in troubleshooting server issues – on Linux, Windows environment.
•    Hands on experience in troubleshooting networking issues – on switches, router, firewall etc.
•    Good understanding and exposure to information security.
•    Broad understanding the BCP concepts and management
•    Knowledge and exposure on overall IT requirement for any organization.
