Business Analyst

Key Responsibilities

Business Analysis

• Contribute to business analysis activities for projects, ensuring alignment with business goals and stakeholder expectations.
• Write clear user stories/BDD scenarios and maintain refined backlogs.

Agile Practices

• Participate actively in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, backlog grooming, and retrospectives.
• Support Agile best practices and continuous improvement within the team.

Requirement Gathering

• Conduct workshops, interviews, and discussions to gather, analyze, and document business and system requirements.

Stakeholder Engagement

• Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to ensure clarity of requirements and smooth communication throughout the project lifecycle.

Testing Support

• Assist in planning and execution of User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and functional testing to validate requirements and ensure quality.

Process Improvement

• Identify improvement opportunities and suggest enhancements to business processes and workflows.

Documentation

• Create and maintain business requirement documents, functional specifications, process flows, and related artefacts.

Change Management Support

• Assist with impact analysis, training materials, and communication related to project changes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field
• 6–10 years of experience as a Business Analyst
• Experience working on projects in Agile environments (Scrum/Kanban)
• Strong understanding of business analysis techniques, tools, and best practices
• Experience with SDLC methodologies (Agile and Waterfall)
• Good communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Exposure to testing activities (UAT, functional testing)
• Relevant certifications (CBAP, PMI-PBA, Agile/Scrum) are a plus

Preferred Skills

• Experience in the banking domain
• Familiarity with business process modeling tools
• Experience with Agile/project management tools (e.g., JIRA)
