Business Analyst - M/F/D
Responsibilities
In the context of Trade Finance, the BA works by slicing Projects into Epics/MMF and User stories, proposing functional design of solutions, preparing and conducting testing activities, contributing to change management along with the PO, and facilitating deployments. They also are responsible for the setup of our core banking application.
The key responsibilities of the successful candidate will include:
- Analyze business needs according to PO priorities, study the impact, propose options taking into consideration planning and costs, and translate into user stories.
- Facilitate collaboration between the Product Management and the Feature team by keeping Value in mind.
- Work closely with stakeholders to provide a coherent, comprehensive and understandable order book and backlog.
- Support the team's knowledge of the business process with the help of the Product Owner.
- Seek to determine whether solutions currently exist inside or outside the business entity. Understand technical constraints and participate in product design.
- Contribute to exchanges and collaborate continuously with stakeholders (PO, BAs, Agile developers...), communicate and advise team members on the functional aspects.
- Conduct testing activities according to best practices and processes, from the definition of the functional tests strategy to performing the tests. Contribute to the design of test cases, test plans and test data.
- Contribute to the management of user change (online help, training) led by the Product Owner.
- Facilitate and coordinate application deployments in environments.
- Participate in Application support (“You build it, you run it”), analyze incidents, problems and requests and co-ordinate with the other teams till closure.
- As a member of a Chapter, contribute to knowledge sharing and growth, ensure alignment with the guidelines and practices.
Profile required
We expect from the candidates:
- Bachelor or Master’s degree in Economics/Banking/Finance or in Computer Science/Software Engineering
- At least 5 years of total professional experience, including at least 3 years of experience in a Business Analysis related position
- Understanding of Agile and Project methodologies : Scrum, SAFe, Agile and Waterfall
- Willingness to explore technical aspects, investigating logs, using APIs and querying database
- High analytical skills
- High interpersonal and communication skills
- Curiosity and a flexible attitude and adaptable approach
- Ability to work autonomously, take initiatives and to challenge the status quo
- Good organizational skills and ability to prioritise work appropriately
