Responsibilities

The “Composition Management Solution” team is part of the IT department supporting the French Retail Banking division of Société Générale. You will join a team responsible for developing and maintaining applications within the document management ecosystem. This includes handling tools used for mass processing and mailing of documents in a B2C (business-to-consumer) context. You goal is to contribute to improving the efficiency and flow of outgoing mail operations, ensuring the compliance with postal rules, standards and regulations.

We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst with Product Owner capabilities, to take on a key role in the evolution and maintenance of our document management applications.

This role involves working closely with the development team and other internal teams, as well as third-party stakeholders in France. You will work across teams, stakeholders, and cultures, contributing to the shift toward agile ways of working.

  Gather and clarify business needs from internal teams as well as third party partners (such as the French Post)

  Translate business requirements into clear, actionable user stories and functional specifications

  Maintain a clear and realistic product backlog by aligning business priorities with technical capacity and delivery timelines

  Estimate effort and cost in collaboration with developers, track team capacity and monitor budget usage

  Prepare regular reports on progress, budget, and risk, for management and stakeholders

  Facilitate planning sessions and retrospectives

  Conduct acceptance testing and validate deliverables before release

  Support the cultural and methodological shift toward agile ways of working

Profile required

  •   5+ years of experience as a Business Analysts, ideally with exposure to Product Owner / Project Manager responsibilities

      Excellent communication skills in French and English, both written and spoken – able to bridge gaps between languages as needed

      Strong autonomy and emotional intelligence (take ownership while nurturing collaboration)

      Skilled at synthetizing the big picture while remaining detail-oriented when execution demands it

      Able to anticipate obstacles, propose improvements, and create future-focused projections and plans

      Good understanding of budget estimation, tracking and reporting

      Experience in working in agile environments, ideally with cross-functional, multicultural teams

      Promoter of best practices in documentations, process design, and agile collaboration

      Comfortable with tools like JIRA, Confluence, and MS Office Suite

      Not only feature-driven: a mindset focused on clarity, structure and improvement

    Nice to have:

      Experience on IT banking projects

      Experience in managing relationships with external partners and third parties, especially in a regulated context (such as document management)

      Familiarity with public-sector organizations or postal services

      Experience in document lifecycle management
