Business Analyst with French
Responsibilities
Snapshot of your day:
The Credit Contracts team is part of the IT development organization supporting critical banking applications in the credit and operations area. You will join a team involved in delivering a highly visible project for one of the bank’s key perimeter, where reliability, functional accuracy, and close collaboration with business stakeholders are essential.
We are looking for a skilled Business Analyst to contribute across the full delivery lifecycle, from understanding business needs and defining solutions to supporting testing, implementation, and post-production activities. The scope is broad and covers the Enterprise market, including several evolutions related to decision limits for credit contracts across different applications, as well as document generation topics. In this role, you will help translate complex requirements into clear functional specifications and user stories, while ensuring alignment between business teams, development teams, and IT partners.
How you will make an impact:
Identify, analyze, and translate business needs into clear requirements, while contributing to solution definition and impact assessment.
Write user stories, functional specifications, and supporting documentation required for project delivery.
Monitor project progress and ensure regular follow-up of actions, risks, dependencies, and deliverables.
Contribute to project committees and working meetings with project contributors and key stakeholders.
Define the acceptance strategy, validate functional test cases, support test execution, and ensure follow-up of testing activities.
Anticipate and manage actions related to product evolutions, ensuring proper coordination and business alignment.
Provide solution support, including documentation, training for support teams, and level 3 functional support when required.
Synchronize closely with development teams, including CSE, nearshore teams, and other contributors involved in delivery.
Monitor and coordinate work with IT partners responsible for interfacing or dependent applications.
Profile required
What you bring:
Proven experience as an IT Business Analyst in a banking environment, with knowledge of the credit and operations area highly appreciated.
Ability to understand complex business processes and translate them into functional requirements, user stories, and clear project documentation.
Knowledge of simple SQL queries and ability to work with API query tools such as Postman, SoapUI, or equivalent solutions.
Proven experience working in an Agile environment, using tools such as JIRA and XRAY for requirements, delivery, and testing activities.
High level of autonomy, ownership, rigor, and organization in managing responsibilities and follow-up actions.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage, influence, and align key stakeholders around proposed strategies, process improvements, and operational decisions.
Fluency in French is mandatory, both written and spoken, with the ability to participate in French-only meetings and interact directly with French-speaking business users and stakeholders.
Fluent English, with the ability to collaborate effectively in an international IT environment.
Nice to have:
Previous experience in the credit contracts, credit operations, or broader lending domain.
Experience coordinating with multiple IT partners or teams responsible for dependent applications.
Previous exposure to testing coordination, acceptance strategy definition, or level 3 functional support.
