Responsibilities

     

Societe Generale Global Solution Centre (SG GSC) acts as a business solutions center for Société Générale, one of the largest European financial groups. We provide high quality professional services in over 35 countries in various business areas - Finance & Accounting, HR, IT and Corporate Operations. Specifically, you will be required to: 

  • Discuss, understand and document client business requirements to support software and business process development;

  • Have a keen eye for details - writing clear acceptance criteria, functional and technical documentation is second nature to you;

  • Create user stories and participate in the testing phases to validate the deliveries before production;

  • Provide L3 support on application in Production environment, when needed;

  • Drive innovation and contribute with new ideas for the existing architecture, services and processes;

  • Maintain a close relationship with the international team and ensure the delivery of high quality features.

Profile required

  •  Good domain knowledge in capital markets and investment banking, 5+ years of experience;

  • Prime brokerage or asset (bond, swap, TRS, option) knowledge is a plus

  • Understand and apply agile practices;

  • Database SQL knowledge - ability to query and interact with the datastore;

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance or equivalent;

  • Good command of English, both written and spoken with the ability to participate in English-only meetings.
