C# Developer – M/F/D
Responsibilities
Join our newly created team in Warsaw in Fixed Income, Forex, and Commodities (FIC) division as a C# Developer, working on pre-trade pricing applications. You will be part of an international team (based in France, Great-Britain, China, and the United-States), contributing to high-performance software used daily by traders, sales, and financial professionals.
You will be working to adapt and transform a set of strategic applications designed for Investment Banking activities and deployed globally.
Your future scope of responsibility will cover:
- Developing and maintaining trading pricing applications.
- Working on all stages of the SDLC, from business needs analysis to production delivery.
- Designing and implementing user-oriented solutions using C#, .Net/.NetCore.
- Practicing multitasking on back-end solutions C#, GRPC, RabbitMQ, NHibernate, CI/CD Jenkins and more.
- Writing unit tests, conducting code reviews, and providing structured production support (typically via email, with well-defined internal processes and limited direct interactions).
- Collaborating with global teams to deliver high-quality, scalable solutions.
- Partnering with our Front-Office users (traders, sales, structurers) and the Quantitative team.
- Days-to-day responsibilities are typically distributed as follows: 1/3 participation in new projects and initiatives, 1/3 technical enhancements and additional development tasks, 1/3 support & maintenance of existing systems.
Your future scope of intervention will lead you to:
- Engage with diverse financial domains, including Investment Banking.
- Take a comprehensive role, covering end-to-end process such as Pre trade, Deal Processing, Referential, Front Office Needs, Risk.
- Gain a transversal perspective of IT systems and their alignment with business operations in a dynamic, multi-functional environment.
Profile required
You will be best suited for this role if:
- You have at least 3 years of hands-on C# development.
- You have direct experience working with Front-Office users in an Investment Banking environment.
- You understand financial products and global market activities.
- You are comfortable working with relational databases (PostgreSQL, Oracle); experience with document databases (MongoDB, Elasticsearch), Git, or Ignite is an asset.
- You are experienced with Agile methodologies, test-driven development (TDD), SOLID Principles and continuous integration.
- You are proficient in English.
