C# Technical Leader – M/F/D
Responsibilities
As a Technical Leader, you will be based in Poland, but the people who will become your closest business partners are in Paris, Hong Kong, and New York. They are a global player on FX, Rates and Credit markets, providing financial solutions to investors around the clock. You will be providing them agile development and support capability for volatility products (FX options and exotic) on pricing. This opportunity will enable you to express all your talents, as a technical expert and a leader. Along with IT teams, with whom you share an enthusiasm for development, you will transform technology into value.
Your future scope of responsibility will cover:
- Technical Leadership: Shaping the technical design and direction of our products, ensuring alignment with business needs and industry best practices.
- Mentorship & Training: Leading, mentoring, and developing team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and technical excellence.
- Quality & Risk Management: Ensuring the highest standards of quality in development, while effectively managing technical risks and guiding the team to mitigate them.
- Standards & Procedures: Contributing to the creation and maintenance of technical standards and procedures that promote efficiency and consistency across the team.
- Global Application Development: Maintaining and enhancing global trading applications, ensuring they meet the evolving needs of our business partners in Paris, Hong Kong, and New York.
- Cloud-Native Solutions: Leading the development of cloud-native applications that address new business requirements, leveraging the latest technologies.
- Support & Innovation: Overseeing the support of both new and existing systems, ensuring reliability and continuous improvement.
- Software Craftsmanship: Advocating for and implement best practices, including microservice architecture, domain-driven design, and automated CI/CD, while ensuring the team’s progress in these areas.
- Trader Collaboration: Working closely with traders to understand their challenges, gather feedback, and design solutions that drive business success.
- Global Team Collaboration: Collaborating with IT teams across Paris, Hong Kong, London, and New York to transform technology into business value.
- Watch Duty: Be prepared to participate in watch duty, ensuring the smooth operation of our systems around the clock.
Profile required
You will be best suited for this role if:
- Experience: You have minimum 3 years of experience in a similar leadership role or as a senior software engineer. Strong proficiency in C#, .NET, SQL and Azure is required, with additional experience in Python, Java, or JavaScript being a plus.
- Educational Background: You have a Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Tech Enthusiast: You are passionate about new technologies, eager to learn, and ready to dive into complex problems.
- Adaptable: You excel at multitasking, handling context switches, and thrive in a dynamic environment.
- DevOps Advocate: You embrace the DevOps culture and are committed to continuous improvement and innovation.
- Proactive & Assertive: You’re not afraid to speak up, challenge the status quo, and drive positive change within the team and organization.
