Responsibilities
The role incumbent as Change & Control Manager (individual contributor) is responsible for delivering all the changes impacting Operations team in various verticals of operational activities related to Cash Equity, F&O and Commodity business of Société Générale Securities India Pvt Ltd., in accordance with the objectives set by the India Head of GBTO (IT & Operations) and Business Line.
Main Responsibilities:
Production Monitoring and Operations Excellence:
- Very strong experience on delivering various market, regulatory, technology change at functional level in a fast-changing environment. Self-starter, innovative & self-driven to deliver projects on time in a high pressure situation.
- Robust understanding of Indian Stock Exchanges, Clearing House, Custody, Depository & SEBI regulatory framework.
- Ensure strict adherence to internal and external process guidelines including compliance and legal.
- Experience of working on operational risk & reduction by implementing smart controls/technology enhancement.
- Act as an SME to share product/regulatory knowledge, implement operational changes related to regulatory controls, upskilling of junior staffs, identifying control gaps with continuous focus to remediate the gaps and mitigate process risk.
- To maintain our risk at lowest level in a sensitive context of new Regulatory pressure.
- Participate in various organizational level projects & change initiatives. Use various internal global applications to bring in efficiency wherever applicable.
Client and Relational Excellence:
- Participate in client onboarding related topics impacting technology & Operational BAU related changes.
- Maintain and establish good relationship with Business line (MARK), Regional Management, Clients, Vendors. Collaborate to deliver noticeable result.
- Work with Head of GBTO in various projects to deliver efficiency, risk reduction by implementing smart controls.
Change Management & Transformation:
- Collate and analyze metrics to influence efficiencies and improvement efforts. Driving an environment of innovation, continuous improvement in an efficient and cost-effective manner.
- Instill culture of the right practices among the team members to change the mindset and be more focused on the process development and improvement to make it more efficient and robust.
- Participate in projects, NPC’s & new client onboarding initiatives.
People and Culture
- Participate in team meetings/White board. Instill team work culture towards achieving goals at a team level. Demonstrate SG core values: Team Spirit, Innovation, Responsibility & commitment with client centric approach as a core element.
- Digital Innovation:
- Think innovatively on the BAU area assigned to come up with process improvement ideas.
- Help team manager in various efficiency initiatives.

- Identify areas of improvements through brainstorming with team members and regional teams or peer groups.
- Continuously promote & look for opportunities for process improvement initiatives within the team. Deliver efficiency & automation by using group level resources & technology.
Profile required
Academic Background (degree and major):
Graduate/Post Graduate
Relevant Working Experience in number of years:
Minimum 10 years of experience in Indian Financial Market (Cash Equity, F&O, Commodity)
Skills & Competencies required:
Technical:
- Knowledge of capital markets, regulatory / compliance requirements
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Sound knowledge of clearing and settlement system
- Ability to identify and develop strong working relationship with internal partners as well as external Clients groups.
- Successful customer service track record and the ability to foster a service-oriented work environment
Behavioral:

Computer Skill:
