Client Services Specialist - Margin Operations
Responsibilities
The client services team supports the margin, collateral and cash management needs of the Prime Service and Clearing business line across all asset classes.
Working transversally with related operations and business line teams the team animates the delivery of efficient and professional margin and cash servicing to PSC clients, external partners and internal stakeholders.
The team is responsible for the following functions:
- Manage daily communication and resolution of client margin requirements across asset classes and currencies
- Capture and animate client internal and external payment operations
- Capture and animate updates and additions to client cash settlement instructions including call-back procedures
- Participate in margin related client onboarding and position transfer exercises
- Capture and animate client cash balance FX conversion requests
- Identify and resolve cash breaks
- Manage and execute account closure and offboarding requirements
- Manage, maintain and update client reporting
- Ensure SGAS complies with regulatory margin rules and industry standards
Profile required
Technical Skills:
- Excel, Word, Power point, Access
- Excel Macros is a plus
Competencies:
- Working knowledge of PC Span and related margining paradigms
- Familiarity with joint audit committee margin handbook.
- Familiarity with FINRA 4210 broker/dealer margining rules
- Strong knowledge of margin rules and regulations across asset classes
- Understanding of clearing, client service, treasury, and accounting operations
- Strong problem solving and decision making skills
- Familiarity with payment operations including Swift, Alert, etc.
- Able to measure and anticipate commercial and operational risks
- Strong written and verbal communication skills. Able to engage with clients and senior business partners
- Familiarity with GMI, Murex or Shadow back office platforms is a plus.
Qualifications:
- 2 years minimum experience in margin, collateral and cash management
- Knowledge of Prime Service and Clearing
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or related field
- French & Portuguese is a plus.

COMPENSATION:
Base salary range does not include overtime pay, bonus and/or other benefits, where applicable. Actual base salary offer will vary based on skills and experience.
