Consultant Software Engineer- Oracle HCM
Responsibilities
Setup of enterprise and workforce structures such as legal entities, business units, jobs, positions, and grades. Configure self-service transactions, approval workflows, and notifications to streamline HR processes and enhance the user experience. Define and manage HCM Security, including security roles, security profiles, and Areas of Responsibility (AORs), to ensure data privacy and access control. Configure absence types, plans (accrual, qualification, entitlement), reasons, and certifications. Define and configure fast formulas for complex absence calculations and eligibility. Configure OTL components, including time entry layouts, time calculation rules, and approval workflows (BPM). Set up time categories, time attributes, and web clock buttons. Lead or support the end-to-end implementation and configuration of Oracle HCM Cloud Compensation modules, including Workforce Compensation, Base Pay, Grades, Salary Basis, and Compensation Cycles. Lead or support the end-to-end implementation, configuration, and maintenance of Oracle HCM Cloud Talent modules, such as Oracle Recruiting Cloud (ORC), Oracle Onboarding, Performance Management, Career Development & Opportunity Marketplace and Succession Planning. Conduct workshops and collaborate with stakeholders to gather business requirements for absence and time management processes. Perform fit-gap analysis and design a solution based on Oracle Cloud capabilities. Conduct training sessions and create user documentation to enable end-users and provide post-go-live support. Work closely with other functional and technical streams to ensure seamless integration and a cohesive solution. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to independently manage and resolve functional challenges Raising SR, coordination with Oracle on issue resolution, assist in the identification and resolution of complex issues/problems on configuration
