Consultant Systems Engineer - Proxy Expert

Job summary: As a Proxy Expert Consultant, the primary purpose is to provide specialized expertise in defining standard template, ensuring governance compliance and delivering advance support to optimize secure and reliable proxy services to clients.

Technical Skills

Experience required – 15 + years
Responsible for leading efforts to implement and support the web proxies across the globe focusing on services traversing through enterprise-wide proxy solutions. Network design is a plus.
In depth understanding and hands-on ZIA and Sky-high Proxy
Document chronic issues related to proxy implementation. 
Define operational runbooks, hardening guidelines and policy baselines, 
Ensure consistency across environments through configuration compliance checks. 
Serve as L4 escalation point for Complex Proxy-related incidents.
Ramp up proxy initiatives, train individuals and mentor individuals on the team.
Proficient and thorough knowledge in installation, configuration and troubleshooting on proxies.
Extensive hands-on experience with various Layer 7 proxies.
Familiarity in handling complex Network Infrastructure containing multi-VRF architecture DHCP, DNS, AD Knowledge. 
Scripting knowledge using Python or Ansible, PowerShell for automation etc.

Leadership Skills 

Proven ability in coaching and mentoring the team.
Demonstrated strategic approach to plan infrastructure based on volumes and business requirements.
Excellent influencing and decision-making skills.
Ability to collaborate with experts in the group to advice and facilitate decisions and key concepts in the Business Line.
