Consultant Technical Lead

GCOO/GTE is the entity in charge of all of Societe Generale's IT infrastructure. The department (GCOO/GTE/CLD/DRE) is in charge of the operation of Societe Generale's database infrastructure and IT production

The beneficiary wishes to improve the quality of the management of its IT systems.

** This role is supporting clients both on our traditional and cloud AaS database platforms, so the individual will have to demonstrate a technology affinity to be successful herein **

Overall Responsibilities include:

As such, the Beneficiary wishes to benefit from the Provider's expertise in terms of Technical Architecture

In this context, the Service consists of contributing to:

·         Assistance and implementation of security projects

·         The implementation of database security means

·         Documentation and operating procedures

·         Change management and documentation with the entity

·         Project follow-up with the group's security entities

·         Database security

·         Production/maintenance with the help of the expertise of each technology the standards of hardening

·         The implementation of the necessary tools for the verification of compliance gaps

·         Monitoring and implementation of database security projects

·         Auditing and analysis of existing architecture and risks

·         The production of the software architecture at the functional and technical level

·         Expertise in database architectures

·         Expertise in micro-services and/or event driven architecture, API modeling, REST/json, Oauth2 or Python

Candidate must have -

-          Strong sense of autonomy and drive to succeed in a fast paced, geographically distributed environment

-          Strong oral (speaking, listening, interpretation) and written communication skills

-          Extensive experience working in infrastructure services, ideally database services

-          Experience working on cloud based AaS platforms, ideally database systems

-          Strong problem-solving skills, especially around technical areas

-          Demonstrated experience leading / managing technical projects across large environments

-          Extensive experience working coherently with large, globally distributed teams and clientele (external / internal)

-          Decent knowledge / experience around agile practices such as kanban, scrum etc.
