Tasks and responsibilities:

Client Relationship Management

• Act as a day-to-day contact for selected clients within the portfolio

• Build and maintain strong, trusted relationships, anticipating client needs and identifying business opportunities

• Work closely with VP and MDs in deepening client relationships and expanding wallet share

Commercial and Origination Support (together with VP and MDs)

• Contribute to the identification of commercial opportunities and deal flow generation

• Prepare and coordinate client pitches, proposals, and marketing materials in collaboration with product teams, under the guidance of VP and MDs

• Actively promote cross-selling across Global Banking & Advisory, Global Markets, and financing solutions

Credit and Risk Monitoring (together with VP and MDs)

• Monitor counterparty risk, exposures, and concentration limits

• Contribute to credit analyses and internal rating processes

• Support preparation of credit applications and risk reviews

Deal Coordination and Execution (together with VP and MDs)

• Coordinate internally with business lines to ensure efficient deal execution

• Support transaction processes from origination through closing

• Ensure high standards of quality, compliance, and timelines

Client Intelligence and Strategy

• Develop a solid understanding of: Client strategy and business model and Industry dynamics and competitive positioning

• Contribute to client plans, commercial strategy, and account reviews

Internal Coordination and Reporting (together with VP and MDs)

• Maintain accurate CRM updates (contacts, call reports, pipeline, shared goals)

• Track and analyze client profitability (NBI, capital allocation)

• Work closely with internal stakeholders across risk, product, and international teams

Positioning of the Role

• Acts as a bridge between Intern/Analyst and VP

• Combines:Execution and analytical depth and client interaction and commercial contribution

Studies & experience:

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree preferably in Finance, Economics, or related field

• At least 4 years of relevant experience in corporate banking, coverage (Corporate, Sovereign and/or FI), or investment banking

• Preferably proven exposure to large corporates, sovereign entities or financial institution clients

Language skills:

• Fluency in Turkish

• Excellent command of English (written and spoken)

Technical, operational & Soft skills:

• Strong understanding of Corporate banking products (loans, trade finance, markets solutions)

• Solid knowledge of credit analysis

• Strong client orientation and commercial mindset

• Solid analytical and problem-solving skills

• Effective communication and stakeholder management skills

• Ability to work independently while collaborating in a team environment

• Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, international, matrix organization
