Responsibilities

SG Zurich Branch (CIB) provides innovative financial solutions, advisory services and capital market products serving the needs of its corporate, institutional and private clients. Present in Switzerland since 1927 SGCIB Zurich Branch offers local and cross-border expertise providing a full range of financial services to its clients with a particular focus on securities, services to foreign funds, trade finance and cash management services.

Mission: 

As a Coverage Relationship Manager, you will act as Senior Banker on Strategic Corporate clients in Switzerland with the aim of developing significant NBI, strategic dialog and X-selling under RGCP guidelines, which, together with the support of and Corporate RMs, also encompasses coordination of business lines' action plans and support of their request as relevant.

Tasks and responsibilities:

  • Closely monitor and manage risks (credit, market, operational and reputational risks) in compliance with internal policies, as well as scarce resources constraints (funding and RWA)
  • Increase our corporate client portfolio thanks to new onboardings headquarted mainly in the Swiss German part of the country
  • Guarantee that Permanent Supervision (PS) and/or Fighting Back (FB) controls are performed in due time and any duties related to regulatory topics are fulfilled (e-learning completed, trade confirmation within the legal timeframe)
  • Implement data classification guidelines (provided by RCO) as well as explaining and documenting exceptions
  • Liaise with his (her) COOs, SAFE and/or Compliance Officers to address any gap identified in the control framework related to his (her) activity
  • Coverage of certain existing clients
  • Promote strategic dialog with clients leading to IB mandates
  • Facilitate, when possible, relations with Family holdings who are shareholders of our corporate clients

Studies & experience:

  • Master Degree in Finance
  • Prior experience in Investment Banking transactions

Language skills:

  • Native in German
  • Fluency in English
  • French would be an advantage

  • Very good command of MS Office
