Responsibilities

The candidate will be part of the Global Market Markets Distribution team in Singapore. He/She will have to work closely with the Hong Kong, India teams and other parts of the business to develop and manage the Cross Asset products distribution in Singapore and the SEA region.

Main Responsibilities

  • Work closely with Trading, Structuring, other internal and external partners to build and grow our listed structured products business and Cross Asset products.
  • Support the Product Lifecycle Events including new product issuances, market-driven, corporate action and expirations events
  • Evaluate the product workflow and performance metrics to establish processes and business insights to drive distribution of our products
  • Develop tools and in-house applications to monitor and analyse market data, to assist in sales and marketing of listed products for distribution to investors
  • Manage the content and participate in new initiatives relating to the product websites
  • Assist with production of sales and marketing materials for listed structured products and Cross Asset products
  • Assist to respond to investors’ enquiries in relation to our listed structured products and Cross Asset products

Profile required

  Academic Background and Certifications, Experience

  • Hold a relevant Bachelors or Masters degree in Finance, Business, Computer Science or similar
  • Prior experience in Global Markets sales team on Structured Products is required with at least 1 year experience welcome to apply.
  • Proficiency in Mandarin (spoken and written) is required due to the role requirements of translating and reviewing client documents in Mandarin

  • Excellent eye for detail and able to meet multiple deadlines

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word and Microsoft Powerpoint
  • Experience in VBA, JavaScript and Python will be an advantage

The role will be part of Global Market department and more precisely the Cross Asset Distribution team, which is well recognized in the region. The focus will be on both Listed and OTC products, with a core focus on the sales and marketing of listed products to retail investors in Singapore, and will provide support in particular on product issuance, marketing, IT/tools development and data analysis, working closely with sales and traders on the trading floor.
