Responsibilities

RESG/GTS is the entity in charge of the entire IT infrastructure of Société Générale.

 This role is for a SOC VOC (Cyber Security Senior Analyst)

will be part of the GTS Security SOC team in Bangalore. In this role, you will drive support India and global regional needs. The objectives of the Security Department (RESG/GTS/SEC) are to manage the strategy for all RESG/GTS in terms of vulnerability management and remediation on public cloud, focused on working with service team to drive the last mile remediation of vulnerabilities. Perming PoC to propose new solutions/features related to Qualys/vulnerability management.

AsCyber Security Senior Analyst, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the security and integrity of our digital environment. You will work closely with various teams and colleagues specializing in different Qualys modules, including Cloud Agent, VMDR (Vulnerability Management, Detection, and Response), Container Security, Policy Compliance, and Qualys Gateway Services. Your primary responsibility will be to oversee vulnerability assessments, manage security policies, and ensure compliance within our organization.

·       Conduct regular vulnerability assessments using Qualys Vulnerability Management and Detection tools.

·       Collaborate with the Cloud Agent team to ensure the security of cloud-based assets.

·       End-end product management skill

·       Utilize VMDR capabilities to detect and respond to security threats effectively.

·       Monitor and maintain container security to safeguard our containerized applications.

·       Implement and manage security policies to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.

·       Work with the Qualys Gateway Services team to secure network access points and remote connections.

·       Analyze vulnerability scan results, prioritize findings, and provide recommendations for remediation.

·       Create and maintain reports on vulnerability status and security compliance.

·       Stay up to date with the latest cybersecurity trends and Qualys tool updates.

·       Assist in the automation of vulnerability management processes.

·       Perform regular vulnerability scans using Qualysguard/Nessus on AWS and Azure cloud environments, including containerized applications.

Profile required

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Security, or related field.

·       Minimum of 8+ years of hands-on experience in Qualys Vulnerability Management and Container Security.

·       Product Management of Qualys

·       Qualys modules experience: VMDR, Cloud Agent, Policy Compliance, Container Security, Qualys gateway services (QGS)

·       Proven experience in vulnerability management, particularly with Qualys tools.

·       Strong expertise in Terraform for infrastructure automation for managing public cloud resources.

·       Knowledge of container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes.

·       Familiarity with container security tools and practices.

·       Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python or Bash.

·       Excellent understanding of cybersecurity principles and best practices.

·       Relevant certifications (e.g., Qualys Certified Specialist, AWS Certified Security - Specialty, Kubernetes certifications) is a plus.

·       Strong communication and challenging mindset and collaborative skills.

·       Problem-solving and analytical thinking.
