Data Records Management Correspondent
Responsibilities
Act as the local point of contact for Records Management within the BU/SU/entity, ensuring consistent implementation of Group DRM policies, retention and archiving practices, effective coordination with central governance, and robust 1st Line of Defence (1LoD) controls—including purge execution, documentation, and audit readiness.
Responsibilities
- Act as the local point of contact for Records Management within the scope/entity;
- Apply Group Records Management Policy, retention rules, and archiving standards;
- Maintain and update the entity’s Retention Schedule Referential and manage the validation workflow;
- Ensure retention rules are correctly implemented in relevant tools and systems;
- Coordinate with Business, IT, Security, Privacy teams, and the central/global DRM team;
- Ensure purge definition roadmap and execution in line with the requirements;
- Monitor compliance with retention and deletion deadlines, identifying and escalating anomalies or risks;
- Conduct permanent controls as 1st Line of Defence, including self‑reviews and maintaining audit trails;
- Provide evidence during audits and inspections and maintain complete documentation;
- Report regularly to the functional manager in Paris on activities, risks, and progress;
- Support the CDO and global DRM coordinator in implementing and monitoring Group DRM requirements;
- Support projects by providing DRM guidance throughout the lifecycle;
- Raise awareness and train operational teams on DRM topics, retention rules, and purge processes;
- Contribute to transversal activities of the DRM team (support governance with other entities) and to the deployment of new internal norms and requirements.
