Responsibilities

Mission: 

You will join the Debt capital markets team as an analyst working alongside the Senior Managing Director in charge of the team dedicated to financial institutions. You will also assist the originators in advising Italian banks and insurers Institutions for their funding and capital needs, with an increasing degree of autonomy.

The period of the contract for this internship is 6 months, with the possibility of an extension for a further 6 months.

Tasks and responsibilities:

  • Produce marketing material for pitches, pricing of bonds, credit and economic market analysis
  • Be responsible, under the supervision of the originators, of the accuracy and quality of the material produced for clients
  • Be in constant contact with bond syndication, fixed income trading, structuring and legal teams
  • Be fully involved in the execution of transactions (covered bonds, senior unsecured, subordinated and additional tier 1 bonds) on the primary market

Profile required

Studies & experience:

  • Graduated with a master’s degree in Economics or Finance from a Business School or University

Language skills:

  • Fluent in English and Italian
  • French would be an asset

Technical, operational & Soft skills:

  • Good knowledge of Excel, Word and Power Point
  • Knowledge of Bloomberg would be helpful
  • Tenacious and reliable
  • Results and quality oriented
  • Team spirit
