Director - Structured Finance - Aviation
Responsibilities
The Structured Finance Aviation team's mission statement is to originate, structure, execute and follow up of commercial aircraft secured financings in AMER (North and Latin America) customer base (airlines, leasing companies and other actors in the aviation market).
- Originate, submit commercial offers under RFP and regular client contacts through office visits, participation to aviation industry conferences, etc… to maintain up-to-date level of information on client’s needs and market trends and dynamics.
- Structure, negotiate the legal documentation, get internal credit approvals and implement the aircraft financing transactions mandated by his client base (airlines and aircraft leasing companies), in cooperation with the other SG stakeholders, in particular the relevant coverage teams.
- Participate in the distribution of these financings to banks and investors.
- Ensure appropriate management of these transactions with Middle and Back-Offices over time.
- Develop the customer base, product offering and Net Banking Income generation with these customers.
- Implement the marketing strategy defined with the Head of the Desk to ensure appropriate and regular contacts with the AMER customer base.
- Train and support junior team members.
Profile required
- Strong structuring, technical and relationship skills with financial and legal proficiency.
- Minimum of 7 to 10 years’ experience in similar Senior Front Office role for aircraft financing activities.
- Proven track record of originating and structuring aircraft financing transactions.
- Experience with aircraft Asset Backed Securities transactions would be a real value added.
- Established autonomy in the origination and structuring of these financings.
- Have current contacts with AER AME client base (airlines and leasing companies).

COMPENSATION:
Base salary range does not include overtime pay, bonus and/or other benefits, where applicable. Actual base salary offer will vary based on skills and experience. The role is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus and includes a competitive benefits package including 401(k) plan with company match, medical/dental/vision, and other benefits for fertility, wellness, student loans and commuters.
