Finance/Accounting Trainee – Seoul, Korea
Responsibilities
POSITION OBJECTIVE
- Control accounting entries and regulatory ratios
- Prepare of daily / monthly reports
- Local supplementary statements
- Cost control
PRINCIPAL RESPONSABILITIES
Daily Obligation
- Accounting result check
- Review and reconcile financial accounts with transactions
- Bank reconciliation
- Daily reporting & Regulatory ratio monitoring
Monthly /Quarterly Obligation
- End of month processes
- Balance sheet reconciliation
- Prepare regulatory reports for Bank of Korea
- Process of incoming / outgoing transfer pricing accruals and settlements
- Prepare presentation material for quarterly ALCO
- Support for quarterly review report by accounting firm
- Ad-hoc requests from internal/external clients
- Analyze cost data and control AP team in BGL
Profile required
Main competencies (technical or behavioral) necessary:
- Sound functional knowledge of the financial products within Finance/Accounting division
- Educational or professional accounting background preferred but not mandatory
- Strong analytical mindset. Adaptive and fast to absorb domain knowledge.
- Highly motivated and team oriented.
- Available to have job commenced as soon as possible
- Good command of written & spoken in English & Korean.
- Strong PC skills, in particular Microsoft Excel, Power Point and Word.
