Financial Accounting and Reporting Specialist (French)

Responsibilities

As a Financial Accounting and Reporting Specialist you will be responsible with providing expertise and performing accounting and financial reporting activities while supporting continuous improvement and process standardization across various perimeters

Specifically, you will be required to:

  • Provide expertise and ensure BAU (“business as usual”) by acting as a back-up for Production teams in case of team’s reduced workload capacity, on a pre-agreed perimeter and for a pre-established period set by the delivery managers, seeking to identify and implement standards for the production teams by streamlining processes;
  • Responsible for identifying, leading, implementing and monitoring the continuous improvement initiatives on the assigned perimeters, playing a Subject Matter Expert role;
  • Support onboarding of the new joiners and has training responsibilities on the assigned perimeters;
  • Ensure and implements process standardization across all perimeters;
  • Document the results obtained and present them to management team;
  • Intervenes in projects and other ACR FRA (accounting and reporting for French entities) initiatives as subject matter expert;
  • Track project delivery milestones and timelines, ensure standards are met, raise alerts, ensure escalation where appropriate and facilitate problem resolution;
  • Prepares training materials for the operational team (process update, project changes, norms, etc.)  and ensures that operational procedures are up to date.

Profile required

  • Qualifying experiences in accounting/reporting or financial audit, with proven strong knowledge in accounting and reporting processes;
  • At least 5 years of proven relevant experience in accounting/financial reporting and/or audit/controlling/financial analysis;
  • You are fluent in French and English;
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office (Excel);
  • Abilities in Microsoft Power Point;
  • Knowledge of Lean Six sigma methodology is a plus;
  • Exposure to multiple stakeholders.
