Financial Analyst (Liquidity reporting analyst daily CFF/Dashboard reporting)

ABOUT THE JOB:
The Finance Department of Global Banking and Investor Solutions (GBIS) is a global organization with a local presence. Our core mission in the Americas involves delivering sound financial reports, supporting Business Units, Service Units and General Management with financial and strategic steering, effectively scrutinize business plans, and offering good advice on the efficient use of our capital, liquidity, and funding resources. The Finance Department performs independent certification of all financial aggregates and creates the daily P&L explanation on market activities. In addition, our robust teams also oversee and execute cross-business projects in the financial and regulatory areas of the industry by providing expertise on accounting, prudential and tax norms while ensuring compliance.
Liquidity Reporting production is responsible for producing, reconciling and distributing Daily/Weekly/Monthly liquidity reports to SG’s ALM and RISK teams as well as senior management and regulators. This team has three primary functions in that they have a dedicated dash boarding team, a liquidity stress testing team and a 2052a regulatory reporting team. This role includes daily weekly and monthly liquidity funding reporting and liquidity stress testing reporting and various other funding flow snapshots. System integration includes account conversion for back-office systems. In addition, the team interfaces with regulators and business support for reviews, examinations as well as reporting requirement changes.
What will be your DAY-TO-DAY?
This position focuses on delivering accurate and timely liquidity reporting, including the daily Cash Flow Forecast (CFF), daily dashboard reports, weekly liquidity stress testing, and other essential liquidity reporting needs. The role requires a detail-oriented individual with expertise in financial products and a proactive approach to data quality and process improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
• Daily Reporting: Ensure timely and accurate production of the CFF, dashboard reports, and other liquidity reports.
• Data Accuracy: Conduct periodic reviews of data completeness and accuracy, performing first-level checks with offshore teams and second-level validations against other reporting streams (e.g., accounting).
• Data Adjustments: Process manual adjustments to correct data quality issues and escalate anomalies, breaches, or limit exceptions promptly.
• Collaboration with Offshore Teams: Oversee and review first-level controls performed by offshore support teams in India.
• Issue Resolution: Address data quality and system feed issues, manage manual adjustments, and liaise with system projects to implement data enhancements.
• Regulatory and Audit Support: Assist with regulatory reviews, internal audits, and ensure compliance with BCBS 239 data validation requirements.
• Process Improvement: Document procedures, participate in system automation projects, user acceptance testing (UAT), and develop interim solutions (e.g., Excel macros) to stabilize and streamline reporting.
• Financial Expertise: Leverage knowledge of financial instruments (derivatives, equities, fixed income, structured products, commodities, and currencies) to support reporting accuracy and improvements.

Profile required
Skills and Qualifications:
Must Have:
- Strong accounting and finance background and experience in Liquidity reporting
- Product knowledge in Banking and Broker Dealers --- derivatives, loans, funding vehicles, currencies, fixed income, equity securities and commodities.
- Experience in regulatory reporting in liquidity risk management.
- Strong writing and communication skills
- Ability to work independently with aggressive deadlines.
- Strong Excel skills
Nice to Have:
- VBA a plus
- Alteryx, Python, Power BI a plus
LANGUAGE:
Ability to communicate in English, both orally and in writing, is a requirement as the person in this position will need to collaborate regularly with colleagues and partners in the United States.
