Financial Performance Management - Senior Analyst
Responsibilities
The incumbent will work as an individual contributor member of the FPM team in Bangalore. The role will partner with controllers / CFOs, various teams in regions, Headquarters and other cross functional stakeholders and provides support in:
ü Check monthly trend for cost to ensure that all usual cost is accounted (Pre close activity).
ü Performs reconciliation of accounts, analytical review/adjustments, and make & communicate interpretations to the controllers.
ü Prepare reporting for actuals for both Cost and Revenue (NBI).
ü Performs allocation of cost from support functions to business units.
ü Perform detailed investigation on cost- direct and indirect & NBI with drivers causing variances by comparing with budget and forecasted numbers and create the performance reporting and dashboard for key stakeholders.
ü Delivers month/Quarter close activities & reporting.
ü Assist in multi-year Budgets, monthly forecast, headcount reporting processes.
ü Use business acumen to interpret data and draw conclusions.
ü Support regions by sharing the various set of accurate data from FPM tools as required by them.
ü Identify the process risk and propose remediation.
ü Partner with cross functional teams like CFT (Information Technology team), etc.
ü Suggest and implement process improvements to simplify the processes.
ü Support Adhoc business reporting requirements. Participate in projects/initiatives across FPM team and GSC-IN.
Profile required
ü Professional Qualification - CA/CMA/CPA/MBA(Finance)
ü 3-8 years’ experience with working experience on in FP&A / Accounting stream
ü Must be a self-starter with positive mindset/attitude.
ü Ability to meet tight deadlines, prioritize workload and achieve effective results in dynamic, ever-growing environment.
ü Sound analytical skills & Advanced skills in MS Excel (VLOOKUP, HLOOK up, Pivot & other functions) and MS Power Point.
ü Understanding of Banking terminology is a plus.
ü Good understanding & knowledge of Power point, Power BI is plus.
ü Excellent communication and inter-personal skills.
ü Willing to work in shifts to enable interaction with the team working in different time zones.
Good organizational and planning skills.
