Responsibilities

The Fixed Income Rates team is looking for a Software Engineer to help build and maintain internal software and tools for the Rates perimeter.

We are agile team that designs, develops, tests, deploys and support global application for Rates traders and sales.  Skills vary from improving and maintaining .NET desktop applications and APIs, developing web applications, setting and upgrading continuous delivery infrastructure and assisting traders and sales in their daily challenges.

We are currently in the process of modernizing and enhancing the platform and are looking for candidate to take up for the challenge.

As part of the team, you will take ownership of projects and help contribute, fix and refactor current code base. The role involves interacting with the G10 and EM Rates desk’s users (traders, sales) on regular basis and assist with translating business challenges into structured and scalable solutions. In addition, you will cooperate with local and global team to coordinate the release and the change management, in addition you will also participate to the team support shifts.

Profile required

Main Competencies:

1.     Hands-on experience implementing performant software solutions in Finance

2.     Strong development background and object-oriented programming in .Net (C#, WPF)

3.     Passion for technology and the ability to think critically about performance, scalability, and reliability of software

4.     Good understanding of system design, data structures and algorithms

5.     Pre-trade general knowledge: RFQ workflow, types of products, various checks, etc.

6.     Autonomy, sense of responsibility and ability to work in a dynamic environment

7.     Strong cooperation with local and global team

8.     Release and Change Management coordination

Desired/Plus:

1.     Preferrable experience in electronic trading either Rates, FX or Credit products

2.     Business Analysis with:

·       Asia trading desks (locally and abroad) for projects / enhancements

·       Trading Venues (Bloomberg, Tradeweb, etc.) for market events (new products, features)

      Technical skills:

1.     NET C#

2.     Working knowledge of continuous delivery platform (TeamCity, Jenkins, GitHub actions, etc.)

3.     Strong technical background (databases, middleware)

Desired/Plus:

1.     Development experience (e.g. Python)

2.     Docker, Kubernetes

3.     Working experience with Cloud technology

4.     Elastic stack (Elasticsearch, Kibana, Logstash)

Education:

1.     Bachelor's degree in computer science or computer engineering is preferred
